At the Janssen Wiersma Groep, social and sustainable entrepreneurship is an integral part of our policy. We see it as our responsibility to contribute to a sustainable and just society. That is why we are committed daily to a policy that is not only economically sound, but also balanced in terms of social, societal, and environmental impact.
People and Society
We pursue an active social policy where equality, inclusion, and development are central. We also find it very important to have a good work-life balance. Our employees are given the space to grow within their own capabilities, regardless of background or education level. We offer fair employment conditions, encourage diversity, and collaborate with (municipal) organizations that support and/or train people with a distance to the labor market.
Environment and Sustainability
Sustainability is embedded in all our processes. From procurement to execution, and from transport methods to waste management: we strive to make our ecological footprint as small as possible. Whenever feasible, we work with products that are demonstrably environmentally friendly — such as those with the EU Ecolabel — and we opt for circular solutions whenever we can. Our suppliers are carefully selected based on their commitment to sustainability and transparency.
Future-Oriented Business
As a company, we take our responsibility in the transition toward a more sustainable future seriously. That’s why we continuously invest in innovative solutions that contribute to a cleaner world and a socially just society. A recent example: part of our vehicle fleet has been replaced with electric vehicles.
